Announcing 1st round of sessions in 2018

PyCon Hong Kong announces 1st round of sessions in 2018. Breast cancer classification in digital pathology using Python and Deep Learning by Scotty Kwok is the keynote of this year.

Breast cancer is one of the leading cancer-related death causes worldwide, specially for women. In this keynote, speaker will talk about how Deep Learning & Python could help pathologists to classify breast cancer microscopic images. He will share his approach that won the “ICIAR 2018 Grand Challenge on Breast Cancer Histology images”, which was implemented in Python.

In 2018, 22 proposals are selected from 49 proposals through Call for Proposals and its vetting process. Topics covers machine learning, FinTech, web, chatbot, Internet of Things, database, DevOps and development of python language and community.
